Apple is set to introduce a couple of new features that will give corporate IT new ways to lock down the iOS 6 operating system, which powers the iPad and the iPhone, according to Zenprise, a mobile device management company that was briefed on the features by Apple.

Today is the big day, the day that the “new iPhone” or “iPhone 5” as many are saying will be announced to the general public at the Apple event in Yurba Buena, pictured inset. As an iPhone user, it’s exciting to finally put all the rumors to rest. That is all they are as of now anyways, rumors, until we get confirmation that the iPhone 5 will have several new and updated features.
